Adult Lessons: Swimming 101

The Adult Swimmer Program is for beginners who are just starting out or for swimmers who need help with basic stroke correction. Within the Adult Swimmer curriculum, participants set their own goals to develop water confidence and smooth recognizable strokes. Participants will gain confidence to do jump entries from the side and recover an object from the bottom of the pool in chest-deep water. They will also work towards carrying out a 10 to 15 meters swim on both their front and their back. Finally, they will work towards improving their fitness and flutter kick with 4 x 9-12 meters interval training.
