Ling Lee has helped lead the Gee-Gees to an OUA championship, John Rennie High School to a national silver medal, and John Abbott College to six provincial medals.
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and raised in Pointe-Claire, Que., Lee graduated from Concordia in 1992 with a major in Economics and a minor in Business studies. He also holds a DEC from John Abbott College in Commerce. In addition to this, Lee has his level II coaching certification in volleyball. Ling joined the Gee-Gees in 1992-93 and is responsible for coaching the setters, middles, and overall offensive strategy.
In Ultimate Frisbee, Lee won three national titles in 1998, 2002, and 2003 and represented Canada at two world championships, claiming a bronze in 2000 in Heilbrunn, Germany, and a silver in 2004 in Turku, Finland.
When not helping coach the Gee-Gees, Lee works as Chief of Regulatory and Growth Policy at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
