The Gee-Gees goalkeeper has two shutouts in her first three games as a starter for uOttawa. A Rockland, Ont., product, Lamarche is in her fourth year of studies in Social Science and has made 12 saves on the way to three wins for the Gee-Gees. She has a save percentage of .923 and has allowed just one goal. This weekend the 5-11 keeper made five saves to preserve a 2-0 win for uOttawa over Carleton. The Gee-Gees women’s soccer team is now ranked no. 3 in the CIS Top Ten Poll.
Named to the OUA All-Rookie team in 2015, Cranston started his sophomore season with a bang. The corner back nabbed two interceptions on Monday against Waterloo and brought them back for a total of 29 yards as part of Ottawa’s commanding 65-1 win over Waterloo. A product of Winnipeg, Cranston is the first Gee-Gee since 2011 to have two picks in one game. The Gee-Gees football team (1-0) has its Home Opener on Saturday, September 10 against the McMaster Marauders (2-0) at 1 p.m. at Gee-Gees Field.
