The Gee-Gees men’s basketball team will be looking for its ninth straight CIS tournament win this weekend, travelling to Queen’s for the Queen’s Invitational. Ottawa will face UQAM, Cape Breton, and Queen’s over the Friday to Sunday schedule.

Cape Breton had the most success of any of the upcoming opponents last season, taking an 11-9 record into the AUS playoffs. UQAM finished last in the RSEQ with a 4-12 record and Queen’s missed the playoffs with a 5-14 record.

Ottawa will continue to feature transfer player Brody Maracle in the post, alongside expected starters Vikas Gill, Brandon Robinson, Caleb Agada, and Mike L’Africain.

Statistics for the tournament will be available through the Queen’s website, which also features the complete tournament schedule. The games will not be webcast.
