Hannah Sunley-Paisley, Basketball 

The third year centre from Toronto, Ontario continues to be the offensive catalyst for the uOttawa women’s basketball team.

In two week-end games the Arts major accumulated 43 points, 19 rebounds, 5 steals and was 7- for-12 from the free throw line.

Sunley-Paisley had 19 points in the Gee-Gees 59-29 victory over RMC on Friday then picked up another 24 points in a 66-64 loss to Queen’s on Saturday evening.

Sunley-Paisley continues to lead the OUA in scoring with 283 points, an average of 18.87 points per game. The uOttawa player is fourth in CIS scoring.

She is second in the OUA with 25 individual blocks and third in the CIS in individual rebounding with a total of 161.

Sunley-Paisley is also in the OUA Top Ten in turnovers, individual steals and field goal percentage. 

The Gee-Gees (9-6 OUA, overall) take on the Carleton Ravens (11-4) in the fourth annual Capital Hoops Classic this Wednesday, January 27 at Scotiabank Place. Game time is 6:00 p.m. (Rogers, SSN Canada).
