Hannah Sunley-Paisley to participate in 2010 Ontario Cup

The 2009-10 season of OUA women's basketball will have a star-studded conclusion this Saturday, May 1 in the OUA All-Star Game, which will take place at the Athletic Complex on the campus of Wilfrid Laurier University as part of the 2010 Ontario Basketball Association Ontario Cup.

OUA East player of the year Hannah Sunley-Paisley (Toronto, Ont.) is part of the line-up and will be a force in the middle for the East squad. The third year centre averaged a double-double during her regular season with the Gee-Gees, averaging 18.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.

The OUA All-Star Game is being played in conjunction with the Under 16 Girls Ontario Basketball Provincial Championships. Ontario Basketball is a not-for-profit association that governs the sport of basketball in the province and represents Ontario's amateur basketball interests. As part of its mandate, Ontario Basketball is committed to working with Canada Basketball, the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club and NBA Canada to promote and develop amateur basketball in the province.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on May 1 at the WLU Athletic Complex in Waterloo, Ontario. Admission is free of charge.
