Gaels: Britanny Moore, 22 points; Erin Skippon 19 points

With playoff positioning on the line the Queen’s Gaels defeated the Gee-Gees 82-74 on Friday night to remain tied for second place in the OUA East division.
With Queen’s and Ottawa separated by just two points in the standings, a Gee-Gees win would have put the Garnet and Grey into a three way tie for second place in their division with the Gaels and Laurentian.
But as a result of the loss the Gee-Gees (11-10) have 22 points and sit in fifth place in the division, two points ahead of Toronto who has 20 points.
The Varsity Blues defeated York 69-66 on Friday night and will play Laurentian on Saturday night.
The Gee-Gees close out the regular season with a game against the RMC Paladins (0-20) at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
If uOttawa finish in fifth place they will travel to play the fourth place team in the East on Wednesday night, February 17 in an OUA quarter-final. If they get to fourth place they will host the OUA quarter-final against the fifth place squad in their division.
