Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Cardio Classes


Cardio Sweat:
Your instructor will guide you through an intense cardiovascular workout using a variety of low and high impact moves. Sweating guaranteed!

Tae Cardio:
Punch, kick and block your way to a great workout. Using the martial arts and boxing techniques your instructor will guide you through an intense cardiovascular training session.

Step Classes
Step:
Enjoy a high intensity step class with different options of levels of choreography. All steppers welcome!

Advanced Step:
This high intensity step class includes more advanced choreography. It is recommended that you have participated in at least 10 step classes prior to joining this class.

Tae Step:
Use the step to add a new level to your tae-cardio workout. This class involves little choreography and lots of intensity.

Conditioning Classes

Total Body Conditioning (TBC):
Increase your endurance or muscular mass as well as your metabolism with resistance training. This course integrates hand weights, body bars, your own body resistance as well as other equipment such as stability balls and resistance tubes. This class leads you through a series of safe and balanced resistance training exercises. Your muscles will thank you!

All Ball:
Use the principles of stability and balance to train your core stability, joint stability and major muscle groups using the stability ball. This class uses the stability ball throughout, taking you through exercises using hand weights, body bars and your own body resistance. Help create proximal strength for distal movement.


Combo Classes

Boot Camp:
Drills, drills, drills! This is an advanced, high-energy class, which combines sports conditioning drills and core stabilizer exercises. Through the use of various drills and props, emphasis is placed on agility, balance, strength and cardio-vascular endurance.

Everything In One (EIO):
Using a variety of types of cardio with intense interval bursts and resistance training this class will challenge all of your energy systems! The recipe is simple: 3-5 minutes of cardio, 30 seconds to 1 minute interval, 1-2 minutes of resistance training, then repeat. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Skip It / TBC (consult the TBC description above):
Train like boxers! Improve your cardio, speed and endurance with a jump rope. Skipping is guaranteed to challenge everyone regardless of their fitness levels. This intense work out will help you learn to jump rope as a beginner, intermediate or advanced jumper. It incorporates various ways of using your feet and rope while jumping to the music. It includes short bursts of speed jumping as well as continuous longer progressions of getting used to the rope. In time, you will adapt your own style of jumping rope, and improve your revolutions per minute as your level of fitness continues to develop.

Specialty Classes

Yoga for fitness:
Find calmness, steadiness of the mind, strength and self-reliance by listening to your body through the flow of movement and breath. This is a challenging and rewarding workout derived from the physical practice of yoga. Yoga Fit: A yoga class suitable for all levels with a focus on breathing and alignment. Participants leave feeling relaxed and energized

Zumba:
This cardio fitness class, inspired by Latin and International dance, will guarantee smiling and sweating the whole way through! It doesn't matter whether you have previous dance experience or if you've never danced. The instructor will visually guide you into every move, while incorporating different dance types: salsa, merengue, samba, belly dance, reggaeton, and hip hop. Try it once and you'll be hooked!

Kick n' Jam:
Kick n' Jam is a combination of intense kickboxing moves as well as dance moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy and motivating music, followed by Ball Sculpt/Sculpt to tone up your entire body.
