Where do I get my fitness membership?! You can purchase your fitness membership by presenting yourself at either the Sports Complex (801 King Edward Ave – 1st floor) client service desk or the Montpetit Hall (125 University Street) client service desk TODAY! Membership sales are final. No full or partial refunds will be issued in cases where a member’s status changes nor in the case of a new dual status during the membership agreement. The “Member of an Immediate Family of a Member” rate is not applicable to members of the “Student Enrolled at the University of Ottawa” category or to Members of the APTPUO. A valid driver’s license is required as proof of residence. |

Day passes may be purchased by Sports Services Basic Members wanting access to the Fitness Centers and Aerobic Classes or by non-members wanting full access to Sports Services facilities. Each Sports Services member may also invite two (2) guests who must be at least 16 years of age. Each guest must pay the applicable fee and must be accompanied by the member at all times. All guests will be asked to sign a waiver form and the Sports Services member will assume full responsibility for their guests during the visit by signing the designated area on the guest waiver form. GUEST AND FAMILY PRIVILEGES ACCESS POLICY FOR MONTPETIT HALL SPORTS FACILITY Those aged 15 and under must be accompanied into the facility and change rooms by a responsible individual aged 16 and over. GUEST PRIVILEGES Applicable guests fees at Montpetit Hall and the Health and Lifestyle Centre: $7.14/visit (plus applicable taxes). Each Sports Services member can invite 2 guests who must be at least 16 years of age. The guess must pay the applicable fee and must be accompanied by the member at all times. The member of Sports Services and his/her guests must also show proper I.D. and complete the guests main form. The guest must keep and carry all receipts as proof of payment. Sports Services day pass holders may access all sports facilities during scheduled recreational activities, both fitness centres, aerobic classes and squash/racquetball courts at no additional costs. Note: Sports Services day pass holders are not considered members, and therefore cannot invite guests to the sports facilities. FAMILY PRIVILEGES THERE ARE NO FAMILY PRIVILEGES AT THE HEALTH AND LIFESTYLE CENTRE, 801 KING EDWARD OR AT THE FITNESS CENTRE AT MONTPETIT HALL (125 UNIVERSITY STREET). Immediate family members of Sports Services members may enter Montpetit Hall free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays only, if accompanied by the member and must adhere to the following guidelines:
ACCESSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES Whoever requires support because of any disability issues may access our services and be accompanied by a maximum of two resource persons for his/her wellbeing and safety within our facilities. These two persons will not be charged admission fees if they do not work out or use the facilities for their own benefit, given the primary reason of their presence is to support the person with disability. However, if these resource persons are going to use the facilities for their own benefit in any manner, the applicable guest fee will apply. In both cases, an Informed consent and waiver will have to be signed at the Client Services desk prior to admission.
Any person using another person's card, or a forged or altered card, is subject to the sanctions of the University regulations on fraud and will lose their membership privileges without refund. People who try to admit another person to our facilities illegally shall be expelled from the premises and will lose their membership privileges without refund. Anyone under the inlfuence of alcohol or other substances will be denied access to the sports facilities
