DANCE TEAM

Entering its 15th season in September 2011, the University of Ottawa Dance Team consists of about 20 to 25 advanced jazz and lyrical dancers. Most of the dancers have been training for more than 10 years in various styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, musical theater, tap, and modern. The team participates in two university dance competitions each year and puts on a year-end showcase at the Ottawa Little Theatre. This year, that showcase will be March 4. The team also participates in various benefit concerts, and will be holding workshops for studios across the Ottawa region in the fall.
