After a long awaited break, the 2010-11 Gee-Gee varsity season is officially here!

You’ll notice some new and familiar faces on our coaching squad this year. The uOttawa Gee-Gees football team have welcomed Jean-Philippe Asselin as their new head coach and Sean Hall as their new assistant head coach, Yanick Evola will be taking over the reins of the Gee-Gees women’s hockey program while James Derouin tackles the new head coaching position of the Gee-Gees men’s basketball team. Our returning veterans include Lionel Woods (women’s volleyball), Dave Leger (men’s hockey), Suzanne Chaulk (women’s rugby), Steve Johnson (women’s soccer), Derrick Schoof (swimming), Andy Sparks (women’s basketball) and Andy McInnis (cross-country & track and field).

With a new season come new challenges. Our student-athletes have been training hard all summer long and are excited for the challenges that await them both on the field and in the classroom.
