2010 Touchdown Dinner


The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees football team and the 13th Man Alumni Chapter are pleased to host the 2010 Touchdown Dinner. This year, the dinner will mark the anniversary of eight championship teams as well as pay tribute to six individuals.

The dinner in honour of the Gee-Gees football team will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 at the Hampton Inn Ottawa.

Championship Teams and Honourees 2010

1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1995, 2000

  Jim Daley: Gee-Gees head football coach, 1985-90

Miles Gorrell
: Offensive and defensive tackle from 1975 to 1977, OUA All Star and All Canadian in 1976 and voted MVP and most valuable lineman in 1977.

Ken Guarisco, B.A.
: Defensive back from 1973 to 1977, team captain in 1976 and 1977, voted MVP in 1976 and assistant coach from 1978 to 1979.

Pierre Guindon, B.A. (Hon.)
'68, L.L.B. '72, Q.C.: Starting Gee-Gee offensive tackle, punter, field goal and point-after kicker and OIFC All Star in 1966 and 1967.

Dr. John (Jack) Malloy, M.D., FRCP
: Offensive guard and defensive tackle from 1950 to 1956, team captain from 1954 to 1956 as well as winner of the Mgr. Prud’Homme trophy for most deserving player in 1955 and 1956. 

The Honourable Justice John David Richard, B.A., L.L.B., Q.C., F.A C.T.L.:  Running back and defensive back from 1952 to 1954, team captain in 1953 and 1954 as well as winner of the Mgr. Prud’Homme trophy for the most deserving player in 1953.

  • $1000 per table (8 seats per table)

uOttawa alumni having graduated from the year 2000 onward are eligible for a $50 rebate on the price of an individual ticket.
