The Gee-Gees women’s rugby team is looking forward to its Winter Recruitment Weekend which will be held January 12-13 at the uOttawa campus. After a very popular weekend last winter with nearly 40 recruits participating, the Garnet and Grey went on to capture a fourth straight RSEQ conference championship and the program’s first national championship banner. The Gee-Gees coaching staff is looking for talented and dedicated student-athletes, eager to work towards winning another U SPORTS National Championship.

Student-athletes at uOttawa have access to first class facilities as well as top coaching year-round. If you want to play at the highest level and become a better rugby player, while receiving a first-class education in the world’s largest bilingual university, uOttawa is the choice for you. U SPORTS provides a direct pathway to Rugby Canada’s U20, Maple Leafs and Senior Women’s National 7’s and 15’s programs. With Jen Boyd, one of Canada’s current 15’s and 7’s coaches, leading the program the Gee-Gees have access to the most current standards, assessment tools and player development protocols in the country.
