GAME STORY:
Seven different goal scorers found the mark for UQTR Saturday night in a 7-1 pasting of the Gee-Gees at the Sports Complex.

The Patriotes scored four powerplay goals to win a second straight game against the Gee-Gees, which have gone 2-3 at home to begin the 2008-09 OUA Far East regular season.

Rookie defender Matthieu Methot scored for the Gee-Gees in the first period.

UQTR fourth year left wing Mathieu Gravel opened the scoring on a first period powerplay goal but was issued a game misconduct in the second period for a hard check on Dan McDonald that dazed the Gee-Gees top scoring left winger.

The Gee-Gees host their sixth straight season-opening home game Friday, Oct. 24, 7:00 p.m. against Concordia.
