The official Gee-Gees Panda Pre-Party at the Aberdeen Pavilion will be the largest gathering anywhere of uOttawa alumni, students, and supporters in recent memory.

Over one thousand people have registered for the event, which was organized by Sports Services with the support of the Gee-Gees Football Development Council and sponsored by Lowertown Brewery, The Clocktower, and the University of Ottawa Alumni association.

“To have this number of alumni together at one event makes this a special day for the University of Ottawa,” says Steven Drover, Manager of Development for Sports Services at uOttawa. “Everyone is tremendously excited to launch this new tradition alongside the Panda Game.”

Starting at 10:30, the Aberdeen Pavilion will be a sea of Garnet and Grey as alumni, students, parents of players, and other Gee-Gees supporters enjoy food, drinks, and music inside the historic building beside TD Place stadium.

The Panda Game, presented by Air Canada, will kickoff at 1:08 with a live national television broadcast on CityTv with Arash Madani as play by play and Andy Baechler in the colour booth. Fans can also listen live on CFRA with Lee Versage and Mike Sutherland, or watch online on OUA.tv.
