Ontario University Athletics released the full schedule for the 2017 football season on January 18, and Ottawa will kick off the 115th season of Gee-Gees football on August 27 with a trip to Guelph to meet the Gryphons, while the Panda Game at TD Place will fall on September 30.

The Garnet and Grey are the host team for the Panda Game this season, giving the team three regular season home games at Gee-Gees Field starting with the home opener against Queen’s on Labour Day Monday. Windsor and Waterloo will also visit, while Ottawa will travel to York, McMaster, and Western.

Ottawa’s bye week will come in Week 7 of the conference schedule, which coincides with Thanksgiving Weekend. The Gee-Gees will not face Laurier, the defending Yates Cup champions, or the Toronto Varsity Blues this season.

The OUA playoffs will begin on October 28, with the Yates Cup conference final set for November 11. For complete schedule information, visit OUA.ca

Ottawa went 6-2 in 2016 to rank fifth in the OUA standings, reaching the conference quarter-final.
