Fourth year transfer guard Josh Wright scored a game-high 28 points, adding five rebounds to pace No. 4 Gee-Gees men’s basketball to a 80-72 home win Saturday over Toronto.
Wright, who played three years at Syracuse, also contributed four steals and three assists in his fifth game with the Gee-Gees (three exhibition, two regular season) for uOttawa’s ninth straight win.
“I think it was a statement game for our entire team,” said Wright, of Utica, New York. “We’re getting better as a team and it is showing on the court.”

“We’re deep now that Josh Wright is here,” said Dessureault. “We didn’t want any let-downs this weekend.”
