HEADLINE: Gibson comes off bench to stab Lancers 
GAME STORY: 
Fourth-year guard Donnie Gibson came off the bench to sink a long three-point basket with 12 seconds left for the winner in uOttawa’s 77-75 Saturday night road win at Windsor.

The 1-1 Gee-Gees evened their OUA East record following a season-opening 20-point loss at Western Ontario Friday night.

“They showed a lot of character to come back and play a very good game,” said Gee-Gees head coach Dave DeAveiro. “I can’t tell you how big a win it was in terms of building confidence and morale.”

Second-year guard Jacob Gibson-Bascombe led the Gee-Gees with 22 points and three rebounds. Gee-Gees fifth-year post Dax Dessureault had 20 points and seven rebounds, while Gibson, from Kingston, had 12 points and seven rebounds.
