NEWS: Bennett moves up CFL Draft rankings as Draft Day approaches

The CFL has released its updated Scouting Bureau Top 20 Prospects List, with uOttawa’s Jackson Bennett moving up into 11th position. This is the final Scouting Bureau list ahead of the 2018 CFL Draft on May 3.

Bennett was previously ranked 19th and 13th by the Scouting Bureau, in September and December, respectively. After his tremendous showing at the CFL National Scouting Combine in Winnipeg, the uOttawa Athlete of the Year has been bumped up. He now ranks as the fifth-highest prospect at any position coming out of a U SPORTS program.

Khadim Mbaye and Bryce Vieira are also on the radar as draft day approaches, having been selected in the latest CFL mock draft by analyst Marshall Ferguson. Ferguson projected Mbaye and Vieira as potential sixth round selections.
