“It’s very nice not to have to travel up to Sudbury and play Laurentian,” said Gee-Gees head coach Andy Sparks.
“I’m not sure the gym itself makes a difference, but not having to travel is nice.”
Sparks also noted that the tempo of the game will play a big factor in the final outcome: “For us it’s going to have to be a game where the tempo is set and is where we want it to be.”
“We’re probably going to have to shoot better than we have been shooting all year,” added Sparks.
*If the Gee-Gees defeat Laurentian on Wednesday, they will move on to the OUA quarter finals on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at either Carleton (No. 1 OUA East) or Ryerson (No. 2 OUA East).
