The outcome of this game was a lot closer than the way it began.
uOttawa was in command from the opening tip-off and were in control of the contest until the fourth quarter when the Marauders started to chip away at the Gee-Gees lead.
The Gee-Gees were up by 10 points 27-17 at the half and by ten after three quarters 41-31. But in the fourth and final quarter Mac came alive with 24 points against the Gee-Gees 17 making for a furious finish.
With every point that McMaster made uOttawa responded with points or a key defensive play sending the game into the final minute with the Gee-Gees up by a slim three point lead which they held on to until the final buzzer.
The Gee-Gees travel to Thunder Bay on Saturday, November 28 for a 6:00 p..m. engagement with Lakehead (3-3, OUA).
