Another new addition to the Gee-Gees CIS team was made today with the fifth place finish of third-year Ottawa native Sean Dawson in the 200m freestyle with a time of 1:52.55.
The men’s 4x100m Medley Relay came out in fourth, with Peter Kwok-Yan Suen (

With preliminaries in the morning, the only event not followed in the evening by the finals was the 200m backstroke, with the finals on Sunday morning. Megan Wood (Innismore, Ont.) will be swimming in the B-Final for the women’s side, and stay posted as first-year rookie Adam Best (
"I thought the team stepped up and raced really well today and we're really excited to Rob Irvine swimming so well two weeks before CIS. Tomorrow should be another good day for us," said Head Coach Derrick Schoof.
