NOTES:

*Injuries:

-First-year forward Jamie Collins (Timmins, Ont.) – out for the season

-Second-year forward Pat Millette (Kapuskasing, Ont.) – out for the season

-First year forwards Jonathan Reid (Saint-John’s, Nfld.), Lucas Bini (Rouen, France), and Tavis Holden (New Liskeard, Ont.) are all expected to return the Gee-Gees line-up this weekend after being sidelined due to injuries.

-The Gee-Gees hosted UQTR last Friday, coming out with a 3-2 shootout victory and handing the Patriotes one of only three losses this season. They succumbed the following night to Concordia in a 2-0 loss.

-Head Coach Dave Leger says, “A by-product of only splitting on the weekend [is that] we’ve created every game to be that much more important, that much more critical.”

-The Gee-Gees will take on both these teams again on the road next weekend for their final regular season games.

-The Gee-Gees will be honouring alumni from the 1990s and 2000s in a brief ceremony before the start of the home game on Saturday.

-Leger says, “The team will need to be patient, UQTR is a hard team, offensively gifted. We don’t want to create offensive chances for them unnecessarily. We need to be strong, play our positions and be responsible with the puck.”
